WATERVILLE, Maine – The New England College men's basketball team lost 73-68 at Thomas College at the Charlie Ryan Classic hosted by the Terriers on Sunday evening at Larry Mahaney Gymnasium in Waterville, Maine.

TURNING POINTS
- The 'Grims took a 32-27 lead into halftime, then came out of the gate in the second half strong, going up by as much as 11 off a layup from junior forward Alex Williams (Miramar, Fla.). The Terriers rallied, however, using a 24-2 run to take the lead and never looked back.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Williams led the Pilgrims with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
- NEC sophomore guard Junior Efosa (Haverhill, Mass.) was a force, scoring 16 points while pulling down a career-high 15 boards.
- Thomas junior forward Jackson Ruelke (Belmont, N.H.) led all scorers with 21 points and seven rebounds.
- NEC graduate guard Jayden McGrew (Garland, Tex.) added eight points and five rebounds.
- Thomas junior guard Parker Desjardins (Jackman, Maine) finished with 14 points and five boards.
- Points off turnovers proved decisive, with the Terriers enjoying a 21-11 edge.
