HENNIKER, N.H.- The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) acknowledged New England College senior cross country runner Keegan Finley (Fredericksburg, Virg.) as All-Conference Second Team for her efforts at the GNAC Championship this past week.
Finley stood out in the most recent race the Pilgrims competed at being the GNAC Championship Tournament on Saturday, November 4 where the senior finished 10th, recording 28:20.4. At the Keene State Invitational on Saturday, September 30, Finley put together a personal best on the season, crossing the line with a time of 23:19.1.
Head Coach Steve Kraytenberg had this to say about the senior runner, "I'm so happy for Keegan making All-Conference. She is so deserving of the award. Keegan has worked so hard during the offseason leading into the fall and has set the standard for the women's team."
Sophomore Aleesa Jordan (Casco, Maine) was awarded with Women's All-Sportsmanship Team and senior Malik Keresey (Pittsfield, Maine) recognized on the Men's All-Sportsmanship Team.
