Women’s Ice Hockey Falters Again to Cadets

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The New England College women's ice hockey team lost 7-0 at Norwich University on Saturday afternoon at Kreitzberg Arena in Northfield, Vermont in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action.

BY THE NUMBERS

  • NEC senior goalie Sean D'urso (Andover, Mass.) tallied 43 saves for the 'Grims, play 51 minutes between the pipes.
  • Norwich saw a hat trick from senior forward Mikah Baptiste (Ottawa, Ontario) and two more goals from senior forward Ann-Frederique Guay (St-Lambert-de-Lauzon, Quebec).
  • Overall shots were 50-10 in favor of the Cadets.

  • NEC will look to snap out of their ten-game losing streak on Friday night when they travel to Salem State University for a crucial NEHC contest. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
