HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College men's basketball team won big against visiting Lesley University on Saturday afternoon at the Bridges Gymnasium in Henniker, New Hampshire in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action.

NEC came into the first half slow, being down 25-13, but rallied in the final 10:26 to lead 44-34. Freshman guard Michael Hills (Baton Rouge, Lous.) had 13 points in the half.

The 'Grims never looked back as they routed the Lynx in the second half outscoring them 47-25, with the game ending at 91-59 giving NEC their largest win of the season.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

Freshman guard Jasen Stovall (Tampa, Fla.) led all 'Grims in scoring with 15 points, including two three-pointers.

Hills was the only other double-digit scorer for NEC by contributing a career-high 14 points, including his 13-point first half.

Lesley sophomore guard Christian Castro (Chesapeake, Va.) led all Lynx in scoring with 11 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

NEC out-rebounded Lesley by a large 58-34 margin.

The 'Grims cleared their bench midway through the second half and outscored the Lynx bench 39-21

Both teams shot poorly from three in the contest, with Lesley having an 18.4-12.5 percent advantage.
