HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College men's lacrosse team announced its 2023 schedule on Tuesday. The 'Grims open the season at home hosting Anna Maria on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
2023 New England College Men's Lacrosse Schedule
The Pilgrims are looking to continue their success after winning the NECC Men's Championship last season as head coach, Jedd Brown, heads into his tenth season at the helm.
Following their season opener, the Pilgrims will continue their season at home hosting UMass-Boston (Feb. 25), Norwich Univ. (Mar. 4, away), Nichols (Mar. 8, home), and St. Joseph's (Maine) (Mar. 11). The 'Grims will then travel to Sparks, Maryland to face off against the Univ. of New England at US Lacrosse on Thursday, Mar. 16. NEC will then return home to host Plymouth State (Mar. 20) and Johnson & Wales Univ. (Mar. 22).
The Pilgrims will begin the month of April on the road at Castleton (Apr. 4) and Maine Maritime (Apr. 9) then go on to host conference opponents Mitchell (Apr. 12) and Eastern Nazarene (Apr. 15). The 'Grims will then close out the season on the road at Wheaton (Apr. 19), Mitchell (Apr. 22), Emmanuel (Apr. 25), and Eastern Nazarene (Apr. 26).
The NECC Men's Lacrosse Championship will be held on Saturday, April 29, and the winner will face the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) on Saturday, May 6 to compete for an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
