BOSTON, Mass. – The New England College men's basketball team lost 72-58 at the Wentworth Institute of Technology on Sunday afternoon at Tansey Gymnasium in Boston in non-conference action.

TURNING POINTS
  • The game was tied 25-25 with 2:48 left in the first when the Leopards went on a 10-0 run through the opening of the second half, capped off with a three-pointer from senior guard Sam Swift (Arlington, Mass. / Arlington. Wentworth led by as much as 23 before a late rally by the 'Grims, but NEC never pulled to within single digits.

  • NEC freshman guard Jasen Stovall (Tampa, Fla.) came off the bench to score a team-high 13 points and three rebounds on six-of-eight shooting from the floor.
