Records: Pilgrims 2-12, 0-1 NECC | Lions 8-9, 1-0 NECC

TURNING POINTS

  • The Lions got off to a hot start as they scored the first 12 points of the game. The home team would stretch their lead to 27 points by the break.

  • The Pilgrims were a completely different team in the second half as they outscored their opponents 43-34. Unfortunately, the damage done in the first half proved too much to overcome as ENC held onto an 18-point win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Sophomore guard Alex Williams (Miramar, Fla.) flirted with a double-double with 9 points and 10 rebounds.

  • The two teams have now played 44 times with the 'Grims being 16-28 all-time against the Lions.

UP NEXT
