Box Score HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College Men's Lacrosse team had three players net three goals as they secured an impressive 10-8 victory over the Spartans of Castleton University Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans struck first with an up-goal from Casey Meczywor, and an even goal by Hunter Sarro put the team up 2-0 early in the first quarter. New England College scored their first of the game at the 2:39 mark, as Sam Crary found the back of the net. Thirty seconds later, Thomas Norton tied the game 2-2. Crary netted another as the Pilgrims took a 3-2 advantage into the second quarter. Lucas Ferreira scored an up-goal at the 11:14 mark, bringing the Pilgrims' lead to 4-2. Castleton was able to tie the game 4-4 at the 4:39 mark on an up-goal by Chris LaBonte. However, 30 seconds later, Sam Crary netted his third goal to regain the NEC lead 5-4. TJ Nong netted an up-goal after briefly tying the game 5-5 as the Pilgrims took a 6-5 advantage heading into halftime.
Ferreira netted another up goal at the 8:08 mark of the third quarter to bring the NEC lead to two (7-5). The Spartans tied the game 7-7, heading into the final 10 minutes. The Pilgrims struck first in the fourth quarter on a goal from Norton, regaining a one-point advantage, 8-7. Ferreira netted another up-goal, and Norton added his fourth on the day as NEC secured a 10-8 victory.
