Husson closed out the first half on a 13-0 run to expand the lead to 18 points going into halftime. Â

NEC came out of the break a bit slow but went on an 18-5 run of their own midway through the second half to cut the lead to single digits.Â

The comeback bid was thwarted by the Eagles as they grew their lead back to 15 points by game's end.Â

Junior guard Kyle Inglis (Burlington, Mass.) was the sole Pilgrim in double figures as he led the team with 17 points on 8-17 shooting.Â

NEC sophomore guard Cameron Le Van (Elizabeth, Colo.) provided a spark off the bench connecting on 3 of 5 from beyond the arc in just 10 minutes. Â
