HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College women's basketball team took the loss against visiting Husson University on Tuesday at the Bridges Gymnasium in Henniker, New Hampshire in nonconference action.

TURNING POINTS
- The 'Grims got off to a slow start in this one, as Husson began the game on a 12-0 run. The Eagles would dominate the majority of the first half as they took a 23-point advantage into halftime.
- New England College matched Husson in the second half 38-38 as the offense finally got going, but the lopsided first half was too much to overcome.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Senior forward Ericka Pratt (Miami, Fla.) was the lone Pilgrim to hit double figures as she led the way with 13 points on 5-11 shooting.
- NEC senior guard Andrea Smellie (Miramar, Fla.) made her impact known on both sides of the court as she compiled 5 steals and 6 assists.
- Junior center Kathleen Rodriguez (McFarlane, Cali.) paced the Pilgrims with 7 rebounds including 4 offensive boards.
- Husson's Bailey Donovan (Island Falls, Maine) led all scorers with 17 points and posted a double-double with 11 rebounds.
- The Pilgrims shot just 33.3% from the field while the Eagles hit 54.4 % of their field goal attempts.
- NEC now trails Husson 9-15 in the all-time series.
