TURNING POINTS

They slowly built momentum with superior inside play, finally going on an 11-1 run to go up 59-57 with 1:54 to go in the stanza after two free throws from freshman guard Mackenzie McDonald (Boscawen, N.H.). The fourth quarter saw NEC build up a cushion, and Westfield never threatened again.
