MANCHESTER, N.H. – The New England College men's ice hockey team won 3-2 over Umass Dartmouth at the Stovepipe Tournament hosted by Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday evening at the Ice Den Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Down 1-0 early in the second period, NEC senior forward Brendan White (Medford, Mass.) scored his first goal of the season to tie it up, assisted by freshman defenseman Graham Padgitt (St. Charles, Ill.).
- Again trailing late in the second period, it would be NEC senior forward Jhuwon Davis (Detriot, Mich.) who would once again tie it up for the 'Grims for his first goal of the season with 1:49 to go, assisted by freshman forward Manny Cabral (Providence, R.I.), knotting it up at 2-2.
- After a scoreless third period, the teams would go into overtime. It took NEC just 1:14 to close it out as junior forward Anthony Cinato (Warren, Mich.) scored his team-leading third goal of the season to win it on an unassisted shot.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- NEC senior goalie Spencer Kozlowski (Vancouver, B.C.) picked up his first win of the season while stopping 35 of 37 shots.
