WESTFIELD, Mass. – The New England College men's basketball team took the loss against Nichols on Friday at the Woodward Center on the campus of Westfield State University as part of the Rick Martin / Hampton Inn Tournament.

TURNING POINTS
- The Bison offense dominated the first half, scoring 59 points on their way to a 25-point lead at the half.
- Nichols' blistering offensive performance carried into the second half while the Pilgrims struggled on the defensive side of the court as the Bison reached the century mark for the first time this season.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Pilgrims' sophomore guard Alex Williams (Miramar, Fla.) set a career high with 23 points to go along with 7 rebounds.
- Junior guard Kyle Inglis (Burlington, Mass.) added 17 points while junior forward Nick Gomeau (Enfield, Conn.) added 11 points and 6 boards off the bench.
- Six Bison ended the game in double figures, led by junior guard Ty Rucker (Bronx, N.Y.) who put up 24.
- Nichols shot 56.8 percent from the field including 9 of 18 from distance.
- NEC falls to 10-23 all-time against the Bison.
