HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College women's volleyball team lost in three sets to visiting Plymouth State on Thursday evening at the Bridges Gymnasium in Henniker, New Hampshire in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- NEC's best chance came in the third set. Trailing 23-17, the Pilgrims reeled off four straight rallies including three off the serve of senior libero Jaycie Kodama (Pauoa Valley, Hawaii) to make it a contest. But Plymouth State sophomore right-side hitter Lindsey Sanderson (Gilford, N.H.) put it away with a kill on match set to end the night.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Plymouth State won at the net, finishing with a combined 13 total blocks including three from senior middle Emilee Flanagan (Milton, N.H.).
- NEC junior outside hitter Amber Thi (Kalihi, Hawaii) returned to the lineup and led the Pilgrims with nine kills and 12 digs on the night.
- Sanderson finished with 10 kills and a .320 hitting percentage to lead the Panthers.
- Kodama added 11 digs for NEC.
- NEC junior setter Arianna Blaize Llamas (Honolulu, Hawaii) contributed 12 set assist, 10 digs and three kills to fix the stat line.
- The Pilgrims are 0-6 all-time against the Panthers.
