Men’s Ice Hockey Opens with Loss at Fitchburg State

FITCHBURG, Mass. – The New England College men's ice hockey team opened their 2022-2023 season with a 3-0 loss at Fitchburg State on Friday evening in Fitchburg.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • NEC senior goaltender Andrew Kormos (Milford, Mich.) tallied 47 saves between the pipes for the Pilgrims.  
  • Fitcburg had goals from senior forward Wyatt Wilmshurst (Massena, N.Y.), junior forward Cole Archambeault (Leominster, Mass.) and sophomore forward Toivo Kramer (New York, N.Y.).
  • Total shots were 50-27 in favor of the Falcons.
