The New England College Baseball team heads down to Northborough, Mass. as they take on Anna Maria College in their third meeting of the year at the New England Baseball Complex at 12:00 pm.
New England College (0-5) is coming off three-straight close losses to regional powerhouses in Eastern Connecticut and Trinity College (Conn.) all three games were decided in the final two innings. Freshman Garrett Langis has been a solid starter for Terry Doyle's squad, as the reigning NECC Rookie of the Week is batting .400 with two homeruns and has driven in five.
Anna Maria (6-3) looks to make it three-straight wins over the Pilgrims, as they took the first two games 13-6 and 10-5, back in the first two games of the year. Since their last meeting, the AMCats are 4-3 with wins over Becker, Mitchell, Northern Vermont-Lyndon, and most recently Framingham State.
