HENNIKER, N.H. - Graduate Brady Philibotte (Weare, N.H.) of the New England College baseball team capped off his stellar, record-breaking career by being named to the D3Baseball All-Region Third Team.
Philibotte earns his first All-Region recognition in what was his best all-around season in a Pilgrim uniform. He was named to the First Team All-GNAC as a designated hitter after a big year at the plate where he slashed .395/.497/.653 with an OPS north of 1.100. Philibotte ranked third in the GNAC with his .497 on-base percentage and ranked inside the top 10 in batting average and slugging percentage.
Brady totaled 49 hits on the season, a new personal single-season high, en route to becoming the program's all-time leader with 163 career base knocks. 22 of his hits went for extra-bases with 17 doubles (2nd in the GNAC) and a career-best five home runs. He ends his career with an even 50 doubles, 17 more than anyone else in a Pilgrim uniform. He also had a team-high 32 RBIs while also scoring 23 runs and walking 21 times.
