The Pilgrims will improve to 9-3-2 on the season while the AMCATS drop to 4-10-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first two periods, the puck was mainly in the attacking zone for the Pilgrims. The host heavily outshot the AMCATS 57-29 (30-14 on goal) and also controlled the faceoff circles, as they won 63.6 percent of the faceoff (28-16).
The Pilgrims came out in the third period firing.
Nikita Pintusov score on a one-timer from a low angle shot, 26 seconds into the period. The lead would quickly expand as
Bernie McGovern scored his first career goal two minutes later as he shot the puck off the Anna Maria goaltenders back. Pintusov picked up his second tally of the game 45 seconds later as the first year scored from the same spot as he did three minutes earlier.
GOALTENDERS
Spencer Kozlowski got his first career shutout between the pipes for the Pilgrims, registering 21 saves in his efforts. His counterpart, Brendan Boncore collected 38 stops for the AMCATS.
