Box Score LEICESTER, Mass. - The New England College men's ice hockey team earned a 3-0 victory over nonconference opponent, Becker College on Tuesday evening.
With the win, the Pilgrims will improve to 4-3-1 while Becker will fall to 0-8-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pilgrims tallied three goals in the first period, which would be their only tallies of the contest.
Connor Fries (Barnstable, Mass.) recorded the first goal on the powerplay.
Nikita Pintusov (Mogilev, Belarus) and
Andreas Zollner (Varnamo, Sweden) earned the assists.
Connor Dunn (tri-Cities, Wash.) recorded his first career collegiate goal just three minutes later will Zollner and Nick Rein (Calgary, Alberta) earning the assists on the freshman's first.
William Riise (Charlottenlund, Denmark) would record another powerplay tally late in the period to give the Pilgrims a 3-0 lead.
Adam Zollner (Varnamo, Sweden) and
Martin Hallin (Sodertalje, Sweden) recorded the assists.
GOALTENDERS
Anthony Pupplo (Shirley, N.Y.) earned his second shutout of the season by making 23 saves. He will improve to 3-3-1. Grant Martens was chased from the contest at the end of the first period. He made 22 saves in the period. Cody Foster would take over for the remaining two periods and make 26 saves on 26 shots on goal.
