Box Score HENNIKER, N.H.-The New England College men's ice hockey team won its third-straight game on Tuesday night, downing Becker College 5-2 in non-conference action at Lee Clement Arena.
The Pilgrims improve to 5-4 on the season, while Becker falls to 2-6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Becker capitalized on a power play midway through the first period to take an early 1-0 lead. It would take the Pilgrims 26 minutes of action to pot their first goal, but
Joe Osaka (Tokyo, Japan) and
Connor Fries (Barnstable, Mass.) put goals in less than two minutes apart to put the Pilgrims on top, 2-1.
NEC exploded for three goals in the third period at the 1:28, 4:56 and 17:18 marks for a 5-1 lead. 10 seconds after
David Good's (Varnamo, Sweden) first collegiate goal, the Hawks scored their second, sealing the 5-2 final.
The Pilgrims finished 1-for-4 on power play opportunities, while Becker was 1-for-3.
GOALTENDERS
Sophomore
Christoffer Sjoo (Stockholm, Sweden) tallied 22 saves in the win for NEC, while Richard D'Ortenzio finished with 41 saves for Becker.
