Kareem Octavien enters his first year as an assistant coach at New England College.

Octavien is no stranger to NEC Basketball; he played an integral role in the program’s first two-ever NCAA Tournament appearances. A captain and four-year letter-winner for New England College, Kareem’s Hard Work is synonymous to all who know him. “Coach Octavien’s experience as a student athlete at NEC and his track record winning will be invaluable to our program as we move forward,” says Coach Charlie Mason.

Octavien earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology from New England College in the spring of 2022. He is now pursuing a career in law enforcement.
