JERSEY CITY, N.J. - New England College Women's Wrestling went 1-1 in a tri-match against New Jersey City University and the University of Bridgeport. The Pilgrims, after suffering a 37-10 loss to the Gothic Knights, picked up their first dual meet win of the season as they took down the Purple Knights 35-15.
Sophomore Madeline Li (Andover, Mass.), junior Olivia Delegas (Andover, Mass.), freshman Lilie Normandie (Lowell, Mass.), freshman Fenna Clover Van der Velden (Stonybrook, N.Y.), sophomore Orla King (Woburn, Mass.), sophomore Ashley Dehney (Pelham, N.H.), and freshman Marisol Almanzar (Lawrence, Mass.) all picked up wins on the night.
