COLLEGEVILLE, Penn. - New England College Women's Wrestling participated in the 2026 Will Abele Invitational hosted by Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Sophomore Ashley Dehney (Pelham, N.H.) and freshman Lilie Normandie (Lowell, Mass.) each took fourth place in their respective weight class.
Sophomore Madeline Li (Andover, Mass.), freshman Marisol Almanzar (Lawrence, Mass.), and junior Olivia Delegas (Andover, Mass.) all picked up wins in an effort to earn the Pilgrims an eleventh-place finish in the team rankings.
Dehney picked up an 8-0 win in the first round before two consecutive wins by pin to advance to the semifinal. She dropped her next two for a fourth-place finish.
Normandie, after receiving a bye in the first round, picked up a 13-3 win before dropping her next two matches to finish in fourth.
