HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College men's golf team wrapped up their NCAA Championships run, posting an overall team score of +48 on Wednesday at Cobblestone Creek Country Club in Victor, New York.  

Senior Ryan Waring (Gilmanton, N.H.) continued to lead the 'Grims with a 79 (+7) with two birdies on the back nine. With his team-best 75 yesterday, the senior accumulated a +10 across the two-day competition. Waring finished tied for 81st of 225 golfers in the individual standings to cap off a great season. 

Senior Timothy Carlson (Albany, N.Y.) wrapped up a successful collegiate career with an 83 (+11) at Cobblestone Creek. Carlson made three birdies today, totaling five birdies and one eagle this week in Rochester. With his 77 (+5) on day one, Timmy finished second on the team with an overall +16. 

Freshman Bryce Sturm (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) and junior Graham Hassan (Pinckney, Mich.) both posted an 87 (+15) on day two. Sturm finished his NCAA Championships debut with a +23 after his 80 (+8) on Tuesday, while Hassan totaled a +25 after his 82 (+10) on Tuesday. Freshman Vesse-Wincent Lampen (Espoo, Finland) finished with a 94 (+22) on day two, finishing with a +33 in his first NCAA Championships.

While the team's season comes to an end, the 'Grims recorded their best season in program history – earning eight victories and now scoring their lowest total at the NCAA Championships here in Rochester, New York. They will look to win their third consecutive GNAC title next Fall.
