YORK, Penn. - New England College Women's Wrestling competed in the 2025 New Standard Invitational hosted by York College of Pennsylvania on Saturday where three Pilgrims finished in the top five with sophomore Jaclyn Dehney (Pelham, N.H.) clinching the top spot in the 138-pound weight class. 

Sophomore Madeline Li (Andover, Mass.), freshman Marisol Almanzar (Lawrence, Mass.), junior Olivia Delegas (Andover, Mass.), freshman Lilie Normandie (Lowell, Mass.), and sophomore Ashley Dehney (Pelham, N.H.) also picked up wins in an effort to earn the Pilgrims sixth place overall. 

J. Dehney pinned her way through the first three rounds before taking down York's Maura White in the first-place match. 

A. Dehney won by pin in the first round before falling in the second. After winning three straight, she fell in the third-place match to finish fourth overall. 

Normandie, after receiving a bye in the first round, she picked up a win by technical fall before winning by fall to advance to the third-place match where she fell by technical fall to finish fourth. 

Li dropped her first match before receiving a bye in the first consolation round. She won by technical fall then pin. Almanzar picked up both of her victories by pin as Delegas pinned her first opponent and won by technical fall in the consolation bracket.
