BROOKLINE, Mass. – The New England College men's golf team competed at the 2024 EC Invitational hosted by Emmanuel College on Wednesday at the Brookline Golf Course in Brookline, Massachusetts, coming in first place out of four teams with a team score of 301.
 
TOP 'GRIMS

• NEC junior Graham Hassan (Pinckney, Mich.) picked up his first medal of the season as he tied for first place in a field of twenty, shooting a two-over par for a 72 to lead the Pilgrims.
• NEC freshman Bryce Sturm (Lake in the Hills, Ill.), already boasting one GNAC Rookie of the Week award earlier this season, finished in third place, shooting a four-over with a 74.
• NEC freshman Vesse-Wincent Lampen (Espoo, Finland) had the third best score for the 'Grims, shooting a six-over par with a 76, tying for fifth place in the field.
• NEC freshman Ryan Waring (Gilmanton, N.H.) posted a 79, tied for ninth place.
• NEC senior Timothy Carlson (Albany, N.Y.) finished with an 80 on the day.

• NEC will compete next on Saturday and Sunday when they play at the VTSU Castleton Invitational.
