HENNIKER, N.H.- After acquiring a pair of solid wins last week, senior attacker
Nathalie Antigua (North Brunswick, N.J.) of the New England College women's lacrosse team was acknowledged as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week. Antigua played a pivotal role in the wins the 'Grims gathered against the University of Maine Farmington and Gordon College.
In the span of those two games played by Antigua she accounted for 14 points establishing herself on top leading the team in that category along with assists having six. The University of Maine Farmington game was her best performance shining with an impressive five goals, three assists with eight points scoring three of her five in the second half. Things didn't stop there for the senior staying on a roll in the following game against Gordon College displaying another solid outing ending with four goals, two assists, collecting six points.
Antigua and the 'Grims look to continue to pile on the wins as they prepare for a home game matchup at Don Melander Field on Saturday, March 23
rd at 1:00 p.m. against the Bulldogs of Dean College.
