HENNIKER, N.H. - New England College senior goalkeeper Hayden Walker (Manchester, N.H.) of the NEC men's soccer team has been named the Male Pilgrim of the Month for November of 2024 in an announcement by the Department of Athletics on Tuesday morning. 

Walker's senior season for the 'Grims saw the goalkeeper start 13 games in net, recording a .807 save percentage, a 1.38 goals-against average, and five shutouts. Among all qualified GNAC goaltenders, Walker ranked fourth in save percentage and third in shutouts. The Manchester-native earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Week honors three consecutive weeks, the only goalie to be recognized three separate times in the conference.  

Walker capped off his fourth season here in Henniker, having started 51 games and compiling an 18-18-12 record. His 287 saves rank third in school history. In 2022, Walker set the single-season shutout record with seven, and in 2024 the senior set the career shutout record with 15 – breaking a record that had stood since 1977.
