Men’s Golf Preps for GNACs at Emmanuel

HINGHAM, Mass. – The New England College men's golf team had their final tune up for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships on Wednesday when they competed at the Emmanuel Invitational hosted by Emmanuel College at the South Shore Country Club in Hingham, Massachusetts, coming in second place out of three teams with a score of 327. The Cadets of Norwich were first with a score of 324 while the host Saints had a 339.

TOP 'GRIMS

NEC freshman Bryce Sturm (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) posted a 78 with a six over par to lead the Pilgrims.
Senior Timothy Carlson (Albany, N.Y.) had an eight over par with an 80.
Junior Graham Hassan (Pinckney, Mich.) was third for the 'Grims with a twelve over par and an 84.
Freshman Vesse-Wincent Lampen (Espoo, Finland) was 13 over par with an 85.
Freshman Ryan Waring (Gilmanton, N.H.) finished with a 96.

UP NEXT

NEC will compete next on Monday when they look to defend last year's GNAC Championship victory at the Concord Country Club in Concord, New Hampshire.
