Rams Too Much for Women’s Volleyball

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – The New England College women's volleyball team lost in straight sets at Framingham State University on Thursday evening at Logan Gymnasium in Framingham, Massachusetts.

STANDOUTS
  • NEC sophomore outside hitter Samantha Winters (Dover, N.H.) continued her breakout season, leading the Pilgrims with nine kills and a .222 kill percentage.
  • NEC junior defensive specialist Kristina Cardello (Peabody, Mass.) led the defense with 22 digs while graduate middle-blocker Tatiana Sampson (Kailua, Hawaii) posted four total blocks and three kills.
  • Framingham sophomore middle hitter Natalie Reynolds (Beverly, Mass.) led all players with 19 kills and a .429 average.
UP NEXT
  • NEC is back on the court on Saturday when they travel to Wellesley University for an 11:00 a.m. match.
  • The Rams are back in action on October 30th when they travel to Worcester State for a MASCAC clash beginning at 7:00 p.m.
