HENNIKER, N.H. - New England College junior Graham Hassan (Pinckney, Mich.) of the NEC men's golf team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Golfer of the Week for the week ending September 29th, 2024. 

Hassan was dominant this week for the Pilgrims, tying for first place finishes at both the Brett Williamson Invitational on Wednesday and the Keene State Invitational on Friday. Hassan shot a 74 (+3) at Westfield State and a season's best 70 (–2) at Keene State, helping lead NEC to two more invitational titles.  

"Not only did Graham have a great week, but he has had a great season so far," said head coach Travis Banga. "He has really found his consistency and it is exciting to watch." 

Hassan and the 'Grims look to keep the winning ways going on Sunday, October 6th, as they face off against Norwich University in match play beginning at 12:00 PM at the Country Club of New Hampshire in North Sutton, New Hampshire.
