HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College women's soccer team was given a loss against visiting Dean College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Saturday afternoon at Don Melander Field in Henniker, New Hampshire.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game's only goal came at the 19' mark, when Dean junior defender Lea Bettencourt (Peabody, Mass.) was able to curve the ball in on a corner kick that flew over the reach of NEC sophomore goalkeeper Stephanie Bronowicki (Corona, Calif.).
- From then on, both team shared shooting at the goal at good clip, but nothing else was able to drop in.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Bronowicki, in all 90 minutes of action, was able to rack up eight saves in a tough loss.
- Bulldog junior goalkeeper Haley Gaunt had a bit less activity but ended the game with four saves.

- NEC is back on the field on Tuesday, September 26 when they face the Sharks of Simmons University in GNAC play on the Daly Field at 7:00 PM.
