Carlson and Hassan Lead Men’s Golf to 2nd Place at Tony Mariano

ORANGE, Vt. - The New England College men's golf team placed second at the Tony Mariano Invitational hosted by Norwich University on Friday afternoon at the Country Club of Barre in Orange, Vermont. The 'Grims posted a combined score of 309 in a field of eight teams from seven schools. Only Norwich Grey came out ahead in the team scoring by a mere three strokes.
 
TOP 'GRIMS
  • NEC junior Timothy Carlson (Albany, N.Y.) and sophomore Graham Hassan (Pinckney, Mich.) continued to lead the Pilgrims as they tied for the team lead with scores of 74, tied for third place among all individual players.
  • Sophomore Kaleb O'Connor (Rochester, N.H.) continued his strong play with an 81.
 UP NEXT
  • NEC will compete next on Wednesday when they travel to the Brett Williamson Invitational at Westfield State University.
