Box Score BOSTON, Mass. – A career-high 19 saves by Michael Catalano is not enough, as the New England College Men's Lacrosse team fell to the University of Massachusetts Boston, 19-7 in non-conference action Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UMass Boston started fast, as Michael Claflin and Donovan Prozinski scored back-to-back goals for the Beacons to go up 2-0. At the 8:43 markers of the first quarter, Luca Ferreira got the Pilgrims on the board. UMB extended their lead, scoring two straight goals to close out the first quarter up 4-1.
The Beacons opened the second quarter with three-straight goals to go up 7-1. Goals from Thomas Norton and Ferreira responded to New England College to cut the halftime deficit to 7-3.
UMass Boston pulled away in the second half, as they scored six goals in the third and six more in the fourth.
