The New England College Men's Lacrosse team is back home as they host Eastern Nazarene College for a New England Collegiate Conference matchup beginning at 1:00 pm.
New England College (5-8, 3-0 NECC) has won four of their last five contests, as they have wins over Castleton, Mitchell, and Eastern Nazarene. Lucas Ferreira leads the way for the Pilgrims on the offensive end as he paces the team with 33 goals, 20 assists, and 53 points. Thomas Norton is the three-time reigning New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week, as he has compiled 25 goals and 12 assists. Last time out, Sam Crary tallied 11 goals, which is the second-most in the NCAA Division III this year. Josh Owen has been key in the midfield for the Pilgrims, as he is second on the team with 19 assists. Quint Bartush and Joseph Pricken have combined to win 71.1 percent (217-of-305) of their faceoffs in the faceoff circle. Connor Almstrom and Michael Catalano headline a quartet of netminders for New England College, as they combine for a 10.98 goals-against average and a .525 save percentage.
Eastern Nazarene (0-10, 0-2 NECC) is looking to pick up their first win in program history, as they are currently 0-10. Jamar Griggs leads the way for the Lions' offense, as he is the only player with more than five goals this year, as he has scored 21 times. Devano Clarke leads the team with five assists to go with three goals for eight points. Ryan Almeida had been the top netminder for ENC, as he maintains a 24.11 goals-against average and a .432 save percentage.
The Pilgrims lead the all-time series, 1-0.
