HOW IT HAPPENED
New England College opened the game on the attack, as they started the first quarter with five-straight goals. Sam Crary, Lucas Ferreira, Thomas Norton, and TJ Nong recorded tallies in the opening 15 minutes. The Mariners would get on the board with 2:28 remaining in the first, as Joseph Hayes scored for the hosts.
The Pilgrims continued to roll to begin the second quarter, as Crary and Ferreira expanded the NEC lead to 8-1 before Mitchell scored their second goal. The two teams would trade two goals before the end of the half, making the score 10-4.
The third quarter was dominated by New England College, as they outscored the Mariners 6-0, as Crary recorded four goals while Ferreira added two others. In the fourth quarter, the Pilgrims continued to pull away. Crary and Ferreira struck twice, while Norton and Devon Saeger scored once.

- Connor Almstrom and Hunter Sutcliffe combined to record seven saves in the crease for NEC.
- Sam Crary's 11 goals are tied for the second-most goals in a Division III game this season.
