The New England College Men's Lacrosse team heads down to North Quincy, Mass., to take on Eastern Nazarene College, in New England Collegiate Conference action, at Creedon Field, beginning at 8:00 pm.
New England College (3-8, 1-0 NECC) has won two of the last three games, as they recorded wins over Castleton and Mitchell. Lucas Ferreira leads the way for the Pilgrims on the offensive end as he paces the team with 23 goals, nine assists, and 32 points. Thomas Norton is the two-time reigning New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week, as he has compiled 12 goals and seven assists. Josh Owen has been key in the midfield for the Pilgrims, as he leads the team with 12 assists. Quint Bartush and Joseph Pricken have combined to win 65.7 percent (159-of-242) of their faceoffs in the faceoff circle. Connor Almstrom and Michael Catalano headline a trio of netminders for New England College, as they combine for a 12.19 goals-against average and a .522 save percentage.
Eastern Nazarene (0-8, 0-0 NECC) is looking to pick up their first win in program history, as they are currently 0-8. Jamar Griggs leads the way for the Lions' offense, as he is the only player with more than five goals this year, as he has scored 14 times. Devano Clarke leads the team with five assists to go with three goals for eight points. Ryan Almeida had been the top netminder for ENC, as he maintains a 25.27 goals-against average and a .416 save percentage.
This is the first meeting between the two programs.
