New England College (0-1, 0-0 NECC) is looking to bounce back after Emerson's 6-5 walk-off loss on Thursday evening. Connor Morin leads the Pilgrims with two hits, including a grand slam, while Patrick Hagerty went 2-for-4 at the plate. Shayne Audet got the start, went 3.0 innings, scattered two hits, and struck out eight.
Salve Regina (1-0, 0-0 CCC) is coming off a 7-0 win over Johnson & Wales yesterday. Matt D'Amato, Michael Breen, and Tyler Cannoe each had multiple hits. Dominic Perachi went 7.0 innings on the mound, allowing one hit while striking out 16.
Salve Regina leads the all-time series, 36-4.
