Box Score HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College Men's Lacrosse team fell to Saint Joseph's College (Maine) in non-conference action 13-4, Thursday evening on Don Melander Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
New England College started fast, as TJ Nong scored the opening goal 16 seconds into the game, but the Monks would eventually get on the scoreboard 90 seconds later, as Xavier Michaud scored. Michaud would give SJC the lead with his second score of the game with just under two minutes remaining in the frame. The Pilgrims would tie the game back up at 2-2 in the opening minutes of the second quarter, as Connor Smith got on the scoreboard. St. Joe's regained the lead and took control of the game, as they struck for four-straight goals to close out the first half. The Monks took a 6-2 advantage into halftime, as they outshot NEC 23-17 through 30 minutes.
Timothy Goodfellow recorded three straight scores coming out of the intermission to put SJC up 9-2. With under a minute remaining in the third quarter, Kyle Hamilton and Thomas Doe went back-to-back, 11 seconds apart, to get the Pilgrims within five (9-4). In the fourth, the Monks would close out the game on a 4-0 run.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
