DUDLEY, Mass. – Thomas Norton scored once, and Michael Catalano recorded 14 saves as the New England College Men's Lacrosse team dropped a non-conference matchup to Nichols College Monday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

In the early portion of the game, neither team was able to establish much on the offensive end, as both defenses held strong. Nichols was the first team to strike, as Colby Gillis scored the opening goal at the 14:36 marker of the second quarter. The Bison would slowly expand their advantage, as it grew to 4-0 Nichols by halftime.

In the second half, the Bison continued to expand their lead, as they added two early goals in the third quarter before tacking on four more in the fourth. New England College got on the scoreboard at the 8:49 marker of the fourth, as Thomas Norton scored his fourth goal of the year, with Josh Owen picking up the helper.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
