HOW IT HAPPENED
The Nor'easter started fast, scoring three goals in the opening 10 minutes. The Pilgrims got on the board with just over three minutes left in the first quarter, as Connor Smith recorded his 12th of the year. UNE continued to pull away in the beginning part of the second, as Jordan White and Kyle Kennedy went back-to-back. Lucas Ferreira struck for NEC with 2:15 left before halftime.
The University of New England would add two more scores in the third quarter before tacking on one more in the first minute of the fourth.
