The New England College Women's Lacrosse Team travels to Massachusetts for a rematch against the Hawks of Becker College Monday, at 6:00 pm.

The Pilgrims come into the game at 3-4 (1-1 NECC) having dropped won their last game against Colby Sawyer by a score of 14-8. Prior to that game, New England College lost to the Hawks 15-12 at home. In that game, the Pilgrims found themselves down 9-0 in the first half before mounting a comeback that they were not able to complete. That matchup continued a trend over the last few years with the away team winning when Becker and New England College play. With the two games so close to each other this season the Pilgrims will have not forgotten the recent loss and will be looking for some revenge. New England College will need a significantly better start if they plan to pull out a win. After being down 9-0 the Pilgrims outscored the Hawks 12-6 for the remainder of the game and they will be looking to put that effort forth for the full 60 minutes in this next game.

Becker comes in at 3-4 (2-1 NECC) having picked up an 18-7 win against Mitchell this past Thursday. The Hawks will be looking for a repeat performance with another strong start. However, Becker will need to finish out stronger in this next matchup as it is unlikely that New England College will allow nine unanswered goals again. Both teams will come in with some new game plans but either way the game will likely be a fight till the end as it often is when these two teams meet.
