The New England College Baseball team continues New England Collegiate Conference play as they play the Blazers of Elms College in a doubleheader starting at 3:30 pm on Monday.

These two teams played yesterday as they continue the home and home series down in Massachusetts. The Pilgrims took the first two games at 3-1 and 6-3 up in Henniker. The first game saw even play throughout with neither team driving in any runs until the fifth inning. The second game was similar aside from a sixth-inning explosion from New England College which proved to be enough for the win. The Pilgrims will look to build on some late offense and drive in some runs early as they try to claim the complete sweep.

The Blazers will look to create more offense and drive in more runs as they try to bounce back in the series. Elms will also look to have a more complete defensive performance as aside from three innings between both games they held New England College scoreless. The Pilgrim's defensive play was strong as well and they will look to repeat that on the road. The series will play out down in Chicopee as we find out if the defense will prevail again or if the bats will come alive in these next two games.
