The New England College Baseball team opens up New England Collegiate Conference play as they host the Blazers of Elms College in a doubleheader starting at 12:00 pm on Sunday.

The Pilgrims come into the matchup at 2-10 having won their last game against Keene State. That win was their first home game of the year and they were able to play a strong game to claim a win. New England College drove in 10 runs in the first two innings and did not look back as they held the lead for the rest of the game. The Pilgrims will look for another strong start as they try to open up NECC play with a win.

The Blazers sit at 3-1 after four games against NECC opponent Lesley College. Elms had closer games in the first two at Lesley and pulled a 10-9 win in the third game before a 19-4 win in the last game. The Blazers will look to carry that momentum into this matchup as they seek another win.
