The New England College Baseball team heads south as they take on the Anchormen of Rhode Island College in a doubleheader starting at 12:00 pm on Friday.

The Pilgrims come into the matchup at 1-5 with a win in their last game against Anna Maria. New England College dropped their first two games of the year and since then have been close in each game until they were finally able to break through for a win last Sunday. The Pilgrims will look to build on that in this matchup as they seek their second win of the young season.

The Anchormen come into the matchup at 1-3 having lost their last game to Anna Maria on Thursday. Rhode Island College played Roger Williams for their first three games of the season dropping the first two and winning the last. Both teams come into the doubleheader hungry for some more wins which should set up a quality contest.
