Box Score PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The New England College men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to in-state foe, Plymouth State University in non-conference action Monday evening at Arold Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Neither team could get their respective offense going, due to the slick field conditions. New England College nearly struck first, as Panoagiotis Galatas' shot ricocheted off the crossbar and bounced out. Plymouth State countered and broke the scoreless tie, as Erik Armskog was able to curl in a free-kick from the goal line which was headed in by Cam Bunn, making it 1-0 with 19:04 gone in the first half. The Panthers would extend their lead later on in the half, as Eric Higgins found Ryan Brown with 8:20 left in the half.

Coming out of the halftime intermission, the Pilgrims went on the attack, as they were awarded seven corner kicks, compared to two for Plymouth in the opening 20 minutes. PSU would push their lead to 3-0 after Alyosha Westbrook scored on a Panther's counterattack.

GOALTENDERS
Robbie Ferguson was solid in cage for the Pilgrims, despite taking the loss. The junior registered one save but turned aside multiple scoring chances. Linus Lindeberg picked up the clean sheet after recording three saves.
