HOW IT HAPPENED
After splitting a pair of Eastern Nazarene defenders, Wiskens Flavil threaded the pass to Panagiotis Galatas, who tipped the ball just in the far post. Jackson Easter was able to double the New England College advantage in the 37th minute, as his free-kick from 35 yards out bounded off an ENC defender and in the back of the cage. Eastern Nazarene was able to outshoot the Pilgrims in the first half 12-4 but only had a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal.

The Lions were able to get on the board in the 65th minute, as Didac Gomes Castellvi drove in the bouncing ball from just outside the box, beating the NEC keeper to the far post. The Pilgrims responded just over a minute later, as Flavil picked up his third assist of the match. His low angle cross found Tucker Stenger who drove in the fourth NEC goal of the game.

Eastern Nazarene got within two goals in the 70th minute, as Carlos Moya fed Charlie Swann who scored on the breakaway.
