Box Score FRANKLIN, Mass.-The New England College field hockey team picked up a 7-0 win over Dean College on Tuesday afternoon to remain undefeated in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action.
The win boosts the Pilgrims to 8-8 overall and 5-0 in NECC play, while Dean falls to 1-13 overall and 0-7 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pilgrims used a 34-0 opportunity in shots to pick up the victory.
Taylor Daileanes (Londonderry, N.H.) and Brittany Tierney (Ottawa, Ontario) scored in the first half to put the Pilgrims up 2-0 at halftime.
NEC exploded for five goals in the second half and saw some new faces in the box score, as Rawiyah Nakyankzi (Woburn, Mass.) and
Maddie Tkachuk (Medford, Mass.) registered their first points of the season on assists on the fifth and seventh goals.
GOALKEEPERS
For NEC,
Christine McNeil (Pawcatuck, Conn.) played just over 54 minutes before giving way to
Gabryelle Hart (Gardner, Mass.). Neither keeper was forced to make a save.
For Dean, Kaitlyn Depp tallied 14 saves.
