Colby-Sawyer scored three times in the first eight minutes of the game and never looked back. Viens opened the scoring at 4:53 when she dodged the NEC goalie and put home her sixth goal of the season.

Less than two minutes later, Jones beat the goalie to the right side off a nice feed from junior Jordan Teixeira (Exeter, N.H.).

Viens put the Chargers in front 3-0 with a long distance goal at 7:53.

Colby-Sawyer would take a 4-0 lead into the half after Jones notched her second tally of the game off a one-timer from junior Sierra Schuster (Hopkinton, N.H.).

The Pilgrims cut the deficit to three, nine minutes into the second half, when the NAC's leading goal scorer, Brittany Tierney (Ottawa, Ontario), cleaned up a failed clear attempt for her 10th score of the season.

The Chargers closed the game with less than 10 minutes to play as Jones completed the hat trick. Viens sent a pass to the sophomore, who converted the one-timer for her team leading eighth goal of the season.

Colby-Sawyer outshot NEC 16-2 and held a 3-2 edge in penalty corners.
