BRYN MAWR, Pa.-Two second-half goals for the Bryn Mawr College field hockey team proved to be the difference as they shutout the Pilgrims of New England College, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action.

With the win, Bryn Mawr improves to 3-1 on the season, while NEC falls to 1-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pilgrims batted their hosts to a 0-0 score at halftime despite being outshot 16-0 in the frame. Bryn Mawr made their shots count in the second half, as they scored two goals on eight shots, four of which were on-target.

Abigail Lua scored Bryn Mawr's first goal in the 48^th minute on a shot from the right side. Nearly 14 minutes later, the hosts pushed it out of reach with a Mary Cugini goal in the 61^st minute.

GOALTENDERS
NEC netminder Michaela Clark (Dorchester, Mass.) tallied 11 saves in just under 64 minutes of work. Amandaline Tibbals (Concord, N.H.) had two saves in the final six minutes of the game.

Bryn Mawr's Angela Meng was not forced to make a save in the game.
